Dry pack scallops are fresh from Georges Banks off the coast of New England. The shrimp is local when available or gulf coast when not, always American. our jumbo lump and lump crabmeat is handpicked from blue crabs out of south and North Carolina or sometimes in a pinch from the gulf, (Louisiana or Alabama) based on seasonal availability. We never, ever buy canned Asian or pasteurized south American crab meat. That is the reason the crab cake and crab soup are not available in winter.
